Prime Area To Grow White Tails And Go Bow Hunting!
This bow hunting experience is at the Hashknife Ranch in Kansas it is just one of many places that have bow hunting of wild game. It is a working cattle ranch that produces Angus cattle and an abundance of wildlife. it consists of fertile fields that line the may river and creek bottoms. It is several thousand acres in central Kansas.
It has been kept very private and not much civilization so going there is absolute privacy. This has made it a prime hunting area. Now a few paid hunts are offered each year to those serious bow hunters. There have been no rifle hunting for over the past fifteen years.
Here is a little more information on hunting in Kansas.
It was announced in 2011 that Kansas is the number one state in America to pursue the Boone and Crockett Buck and the number one state that is adding Boone and Crockett Whitetail entries.
The State of Kansas is re-writing the Boone and Crockett Record Books each year. The State of Kansas has changed the procedure for the purchase of non resident tags. A new lottery system adopted in 2008 has been developed and it is very easy to get a tag with the draw beginning in April.
Archery Hunts: Non-resident Archery Tags are obtained through the same system as aforementioned.
In Kansas a non resident may only kill one buck. The hunter is forced to pick one of 3 seasons. Early Muzzle loader, Archery, or Rifle. In the event a hunter doesn’t tag out during early muzzleloader he or she may use that muzzle loader tag for the Rifle hunt if he or she uses a muzzle loader during the rifle season.
These are just a few of the regulations, you must research them all before you go.
