Stalking Your Game A Few Tips!
Stalking is one of the things that you have to learn if you want to become a proficient hunter.
Here are some of the equipment you will need to help accomplish this fete.
- Cat paw’s- sound proofing for your feet
- Good hiking boots
- Good Binocular’s
- Camouflage clothes
- Wind Detector
- Spotting scope
Also you have to make sure that you do not wear anything that will attract them by your sent. Smell is your enemy. Any amount of human scent will make a deer turn and run instantly.
If you are stalking for a good shot it is 40 yards for a bow hunter and you will have to be a proficient shot. So again practicing is top of the list.
One of the best things to do is to do some preseason scouting. This can be very helpful to know where the sign is and if spotting the game know the size of deer and that you can come back and they will be in the area. You don’t have to get close just keep them in sight and watch.
